The striking new build at 159 Nathanvale Dr, Mount Nathan notched up the most views of any residential property listed for sale on www.realestate.com.au over the last seven days.

Ms Kelly said the property was an example of effective passive house design, utilising ceiling heights of 3.6m with large bi-fold windows and louvres to promote natural ventilation.

“The inspiration came from creating a cutting-edge look and making the design appear to have a floating look over the landscape,” she said.

The ‘floating’ effect is achieved by cantilevered decks beneath spotted gum eaves, illuminated by bespoke strip lighting.

Back inside, thoughtful design finishes through open-plan living spaces strike a balance between family comfort and aesthetics.

Finishes in the living and dining space include herringbone oak flooring, Victorian ash screening, Brazilian stone, and custom timber cabinetry.

PropTrack data shows house prices in Mount Nathan were up 45 per cent over the last 12 months, to a median of $1.392m.
